Reis koos Mihkliga Suurde Õuna marsruudil Tallinn-Riia-Oslo-NY-Berliin-Tallinn Tekkis ka huvi, miks New Yorki just Suureks Õunaks kutsutakse. Selgub, et sellist nime kannab linn juba 1920-datest aastatest John J. Fitz Geraldi, New York Morning Telegraphi spordiajakirjaniku teenel.
